DirtWorks™ - Terms of Service (Adaptation Notes)

IMPORTANT
This document lists the exact changes to apply to your Shopify Terms of Service template. It is intended to be used together with the Shopify template rather than replacing sections that Shopify instructs merchants not to modify.

Applicable Law

Replace the governing law clause with: 'These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Spain. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights under the laws of the customer’s country of residence where applicable.'

Orders

Add: 'Customers may request cancellation before dispatch. Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible, but eligible customers may exercise their right of withdrawal in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.'

Products

Add: 'Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Minor differences in colour, packaging or appearance may occur due to manufacturing batches, lighting or screen settings.'

Shipping

Add: 'Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by customs, courier delays, weather or other events beyond our reasonable control.'

Consumer Rights

Add: 'Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any statutory consumer rights available under applicable law.'

Returns

Replace the refund policy reference so it points to your 15-Day Return & Refund Policy.

Privacy Links

Replace every [LINK] placeholder with the real URLs of your Privacy Policy, Return Policy and Shipping Policy.

Shopify Clause

Do not remove or modify the section stating that Shopify powers the store.

Final Checklist

Replace all placeholders before publishing.

Ensure your legal business name and address are correct.

Publish matching Privacy, Shipping and Return Policies.

Keep the Shopify-specific wording where instructed by Shopify.
